It is close to some of the world’s best beaches and has great national parks, sporting facilities and other recreational centres.
The hospitality industry in Brisbane and surrounding areas is booming and includes a wide variety of fine dining establishments; family friendly restaurants; casual cafes/coffee shops and also many hotels/ resorts. It is often referred to as Australia’s holiday capital. Students from the Institute of Culinary Excellence will undertake work placement at one of our business partner restaurants or hotels providing the opportunity to put theory and practical skills into action in a real commercial kitchen.
